100 song, 5 cd box set! All 1960s Singapore music!
Universal Music Singapore is releasing a 5cd boxset of 1960s Singapore songs today! 5 cds! 100 songs! All from the Phillips label, which was one of the more illustrious labels in the 1960s local music scene.

Who is Diana, and who is her fabulous backing band? She is one of the mysterious 60s girl vinyls I’m so fond of picking up! I’m guessing she is local, or from Malaysia at least, because this is a local pressing. And the band sounds along the same twangy instrumental vein as Polar Five.
